Massie is an alumni of the USA Mandela Washington Fellowship under the Young African Leaders Initiative YALI under Business and Entrepreneurship; and the Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Exploring Enterprenuership Phase under the Deshpade Innovation Centre in Canada.

An experienced Arts Administrator and Manager. Desmond is also an experienced Tour Manager having worked with leading arts companies in the country and abroad. His experience in the arts spans over 2 decades.
